Hey folks, Harry here. Seems that one of the chief brains behind that A.I. online game (which by the way was far more brilliant than the film itself) is being approached to give his thoughts on the remake of FORBIDDEN PLANET. First off, there's a person in the world that apparently has quite a fondness for Science Fiction, but has no knowledge of FORBIDDEN PLANET... That is about as shocking as it can get. Personally I would keep anyone that has zero knowledge of the original about 4000 leagues away from the film, but then... perhaps Dreamworks is wanting it to resemble in no way the original.... ugh... Well, we'll see...

the fan base for the game, the Cloudmakers Yahoo
Group.
"And as a bizarre spin-off from the game, I'm supposed
to go talk to the good folks at Dreamworks some time

(which I drew a complete blank on, not having seen the
film, until somebody said it was a reimagining of THE
TEMPEST! Well--if it's an sf-nal bastardization of
Shakespeare, I am *there*, needless to say. :-)
