Alright Folks, Harry here!!! The second month of our SIDESHOW/WETA Lord Of The Rings Toy Contest is done and we have our winners!!! That's right Month #1 is over and the winners have been decided. We had tons of entries in the LOTR contest and they came from everywhere. Last time out it was easy to choose the winners, but this time... Tough. Really tough. I mean how do you judge a sculpture made from Sculpty with one made from Marble? Extremely tough. Ultimately I had to make very tough decisions, and realize that while some didn't win, their work will be considered in the next contest as well!!!
THE LORD OF THE RINGS Sculpture Contest V.2!!!
Our first two winners need to write with their choices of the selected prizes from the first contest, so I can give their decisions and addresses to SIDESHOW to get those prizes out to them pronto! This first contest was for: SideShow and Weta's wondrous ORC OVERSEER Statue, FRODO BAGGINS Bust and the GANDALF THE GREY Bust!!! !!! David give me your pick ASAP as Susan has already given me her pick! Here are the winners!!!
1st Prize will go to Susan Clayton These pictures do not even begin to do justice to this fantastic sculpture by her. Her sculpture perfectly depicts AICN's brother man, Segue Zagnut! Segue is in deep undercover right now, but when he resurfaces all will stand in awe of what he's been planning. Susan spent idle time sculpting while watching ROAD HOUSE and FORBIDDEN PLANET!!! She did this to win the bust of Gandalf for her Husband!!! How cool is that folks? Michael, you lucky dog. You found a wife that would sculpt a damn fine afro to when you a helluva beard while she watched two geeked out as hell flicks. You better give her a proper loving and attention my friend!!!
2nd Prize goes to David Evans of Ashland City, Tennessee for his absolutely perfect rendering of Kublakhan's father LOBO!!!! GREAT JOB!!! When Sister Satan and Kublakhan came over to see this, they were stunned. Little Kublakhan picked him up and started climbing our scale model of the Empire State Building while moths buzzed the lil fella! David also entered a very fine Hercules The Strong which is still up for consideration next month... we'll see if it wins, it has some amazing competition that came in just after the deadline though.... we'll see!!!
3rd Prize goes to J. Clark of Redmond, Oregon who made this Aardman Animation version of HARRY LIME!!! Seems Harry has ventured out of the sewer and has hit the streets, though the missing element is the shadow of Harry Lime which should have been sculpted 4 times the actual figure's size. However, the blowing newspaper and Cthulu tentacle coming out of the gutter is bonus points cool!
Well, thanks to SIDESHOW TOYS & WETA we are giving more of their wonderful creations away, and the contest continues with more FABULOUS PRIZES and EXTRA WAYS TO WIN DIFFERENT TYPES OF COOL STUFF!!!

There are Only Two More of the Sculpting Contest Months to go, before we change contest types, but for now you will find a series of spy names below, some with links to their images. The way to win is to either sculpt or customize an action figure, bust or sculpt of whichever AICN spy you choose to make. If we have an image link below, try to get as close as you can to the way it looks, but feel free to pose the character, however you like. Remember though, making a Harry Toy does not guarantee a win. There are many spies to choose from, choose the one you like most! Also, if someone else has sculpted one of the below characters and won, that doesn't mean you can't win with the same character, however the more varied different characters... well they are wanted to fill in the holes in the run here at AICN's Hall Of Spies!!! Though topping the previous version OR varying the pose or situation the character is in is GOOD! To win one of these three, you must send your sculpt to the AICN P.O. BOX Listed Below by Thanksgiving!!! It can be made out of plastic, wood, sculpty, paper-mache, rubber, gold, platinum, marble, onyx, diamonds or whatever keeps. The top winner will get his/her pick of the above three, the 2nd place winner gets his/her pick, and 3rd place gets... the other one.
Now, if your sculpt does not win this contest, it is automatically entered into the next giveaway contest, and so on and so on. Now how could you win the entire line of LORD OF THE RINGS Busts and Sculpts? Well, it is probably not going to happen, but you can win multiple times with multiple entries, but they must be a different character, and you have better be really really good cause, well... There are A LOT OF YOU that are talented as all hell! And yes you can win no matter where in the world you send from, just be aware of shipping time and deadlines, of course if it comes in late, it'll just be submitted for the following contest for the month of October!

Psssssst! I don't know if you caught this or not, but you should check out this new program that SIDESHOW is running! Sideshow and Weta have this ultra groovy Medallion Program they are running. Now personally I anticipate having to outfit one room here at Geek Headquarters as LORD OF THE RINGS CENTRAL... as this stuff I'm getting is really cool, and these Medallions would be excellent to go all the way around the room at about 8 ft off the ground, side by side... Apparently when you get them all up there, they will tell the entire tale of LORD OF THE RINGS visually as sculpted by the artisans of WETA and finished out with an amazingly real looking Bronze patina!
