Word on the Testing of the MEN IN BLACK 2 Trailer...
Hey folks, Harry here... And looks like Sony is probably readying the trailer for MEN IN BLACK 2, I imagine for attachment on ALI. There's probably a couple of different takes on the trailer and they're testing them to see how people react to them... of course wanting 100% "I WANNA SEE THAT NOW!" reaction... Unfortunately this trailer didn't get that reaction from at least our friend TracT...
I was taken in by a focus group at the mall Friday and I watched the Men In Black 2 trailer. I wasn't sure if it has been reported on yet and or has made its way to the Internet. But if it hasn't I would love to give a summary of it for you.
The trailer starts off like this. The narrator talks about a secret organization and a picture of the US Post office symbol is flashed. Somewhere in the midwest, possibly Arizona Tommy Lee Jones is in a post office declaring that the package he is holding behind the desk is in direct violation of some crazy postal law not involving anthrax. Think of this speech reminescent of the one he gives the alien in the desert in the beginning of the previous film.
Will Smith walks in and tells him to come with him. They re-enter the MIB headquarters and there is basically a role-reversal from the first movie. Now Will Smith is leading Tommy Lee Jones who is confused as all hell around. A few familiar faces wave hello including the coffee alien guys who look like they have jawndus repeat hello and one of them says "Hey I thought you were dead K."
Now the two enter the "De-neuralizer". It's a rather large white room and suddenly a chair pops up out of the ground that looks like it was ripped off from a Total Recall yard sale. Tommy Lee Jones then asks what the chair in the middle of the room is insinuating that the room itself was the deneuralizer rather than the Total Recall chair.
I forget the rest but basically Will Smith is on a subway car and asks for everyone to get up because there is a big bug and then half the subway car is ripped in half and a horrible looking cgi bug mouth takes up the entire tunnel.
NO SIGN OF KNOXVILLE or any aliens...this trailer sucked, I truly hope this is not a taste of things to come. The first movie was somewhat clever this will probably be cliche shit produced from the propaganda machine which is Hollywood sequels.
If I don't receive a response from you I'll just assume that I was mistaken and the trailer has been reviewed. Thank you very much for your time and I hope you continue to put together a great site.
