Another SPIDER-MAN Review Pops Up OnLine!!!

Hey folks, Harry here.... Ronald Epstein of HomeTheaterForum.Com has placed the second online review of SPIDER-MAN, and is far more praising than even David Poland's positive review of the film. Ronald seems to have come into this movie with no prior knowledge of SPIDER-MAN as a comic character... He's aware of him, but isn't a reader. He seemed really taken by the film giving it 4stars out of 5. His coverage of how the audience reacted is even more enthusiastic. I can not wait to see this one. I'm a lifelong Spidey-fan and this has me excited!

Here's the first SPIDER-MAN review sent into AICN.... It's a small brief little piece, but I think it'll get you excited...

Hey Harry! I am happy to say I saw Spider-man last night at a preview-screening. The were's and how's aren't very important, what is however, is that Spider-Man KICKS TOTAL ASS! I was a little worried by the trailers, which features endless CGI shots. But I am proud to say that this film is remarkable. Sam Raimi has crafted the absolute finest super-hero film ever made. This film is flawless. Toby Maguire gives a remarkable performance as Peter Parker. The story is great. David Koepp did a fantastic jod adapting the story of Spidey into his script. This flick contains some of the nicest fight scenes ever! The Matrix looks like trash compared to the excellent action sequences with appear throughout. Also, Willam Dafoe has to be one of the greatest screen villians of all time! He devours every single scence in which he is featured in. GO SEE SPIDER-MAN! It is Sam Raimi at his best, and trust me, that's pretty fucking good!

Hey folks, Harry here... got this additional mini-review from a long term spy that has given feedback on films since all the way back on TOMORROW NEVER DIES!!! That's been a while. I confirmed her identity with the emails, and yes this person is a long term spy. And she... SHE loved SPIDER-MAN... Here ya go.... Beware of a couple of spoilers...

OK, here's the deal. I promised Sony not to talk about the film and they specifically asked people to NOT do "anything related to the internet" and I don't want to jeopardize invitations to future screenings, but I have to tell you - I LOVED IT! The plot is very good. Action is FANTASTIC and Tobey Maguire is sooooooo believable and good as Spiderman that everyone who protested his being cast has some MAJOR crow to eat. Additionally, I don't know what the big deal is about organic web shooters. Yes, he has them, yes they work with very well with the story and yes they're really, really cool! If anything, I think mechanical web shooters would not have made sense -- I mean come on! Is he part spider or not?! He is, and therefore the organic webshooters make sense and how he learns to use them is an interesting plot point. Willem Dafoe is also GREAT as the Green Goblin. ! bsp;I was very impressed by the special effects as well. Seriously, from the opening credits to the very end when Tobey says "I am Superman" I was riveted and I can't wait for the sequel. Anyway, just so you don't think I am a plant -- I have previously sent you reviews (albeit years ago) for tomorrow Never Dies, Lethal Weapon 3, and a few others including a small independent shown at the L.A. Film Festival called 'Some Girls" -(EVIDENCE DELETED TO KEEP THE IDENTITY OF THE WRITER SECRET)- OK, I said I loved it but I didn't really talk about the film itself or give anything away (ok, ok, the webshooters) -- I guess I almost kept my promise.
