HULK Location News in San Francisco!!!

Hey folks, Harry here with additional filming news in regards to Ang Lee's HULK movie in San Francisco. Sounds like there will be some action/violent stunt stuff going on... COULD BE REALLY COOL!!!! So hope some of you see some of it! Here ya go...

"The Hulk" Takes Over Streets Near Icehouse

Street Closures Due to Film Activities

April 19, 2002

From April 21 through May 8, there will be filming of scenes for "The Hulk" on streets located near the Icehouse.

During the filming, scenes to be staged include:

* Use of a helicopter which will fly at a lower level than 500 feet

* What appears to be a large military presence/police SWAT Team

* Stunts with a cable car and automobiles

Please know that the actors, vehicles, and helicopters to be brought in for filming are not real military. The scenes are fictional and the appearance of any military activity is not real. It is for the filming of a movie.

Please see the following for temporary street and intersection closures that will be in effect:

Saturday, April 20, 7am to Sunday, April 21, 10pm

* Sansome between Broadway and Green

* Vallejo between Battery and Sansome

* Intersection of Vallejo at Sansome

Monday, April 22, 7am to Wednesday, May 8, 5pm

* Vallejo between Sansome and Montgomery

Saturday, April 27, 7am to Wednesday, May 1, 7am

* Sansome between Broadway and Green

* Vallejo between Battery and Sansome

* Intersection of Vallejo and Sansome

Monday, April 29, 7am to Monday, May 6, 7am

* Montgomery between Broadway and Green

Wednesday, May 1, 7am to Sunday, May 5, 7am

* Sansome (eastside parking lane and one lane of traffic only) between Broadway and Green

* Vallejo between Battery and Sansome

During these dates, posting for "No Parking" will be in effect on Montgomery, Vallejo, Sansome, and Green Street, with some additional posting on Front, Broadway, and Pacific. San Francisco Police Officers will monitor local access to residents and will maintain one traffic lane to be kept open for local access only and emergency vehicles.

These street closings could cause a delay with the WSI shuttle. Facilities will do their best to adhere to the normal shuttle schedule posted in the Public Folders.
