Too much “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” on Coax for you? Toughen up. We found out the hard way today that if we don’t post “Buffy” spoilers as soon as we get them, our e-mailboxes flood over with cybermultitudes, all sending us the same tidbit. So if you haven’t heard:
* It looks certain at this point that Mark Metcalf (who played evil season-one big bad The Master), Clare Kramer (who played evil season-five big bad Glory), and Adam Busch (who played deadly Nerd of Doom Warren in season six) will be rejoining “Buffy” for at least one episode early in the seventh season - despite the fact that all these villains were vanquished long ago. Delusion? Nightmare? Flashback?
* Metcalf has now also indicated that he will return for at least one additional episode late in the season.
* TV Guide reported Tuesday that Amber Benson will return – for several episodes – as a character other than Tara. Read it here!
* Emma Caulfield reveals that the seventh season will be the last for Anya. She also said she and Sarah Michelle Gellar were the only regulars not contracted for season eight at the moment.
* (“Angel” spoiler ahead.) Finally, Buffyverse mastermind Joss Whedon indicates he has ideas on how to use prodigal slayer Faith on both “Buffy” and “Angel” this coming season – if busy actress Eliza Dushku doesn’t get too bogged down in movie work.
