Hey folks, Harry here... God, My nephew would kill for this thing. Heh. Ok, this isn't a SPIDEY-MOBILE that will appear in the movie, I believe he just pilots a weak looking 2 wheeled sorta motorized vehicle in this flick, but you know how films cost so much? Well, this is one of the reasons why. Lookee... A custom SPIDER-MAN 2 GOLFCART for the studio lot. Isn't it sweet looking? My brother-in-law can do this sort of work, does Vinyl stuff like this all the time, I think I should get my car done up with all sorts of stylized Aint It Cool slogans and symbols... Like across the passenger side door it could read "Sell-Out" across the hood there could be a stylized BELLY. Orange and lilac hints here and there... It'd Rule! Meanwhile, here's what they did for SPIDEY...
Hey, this is JJBRWesq. Before I go on I just wanted to say thanks for posting my Manic review a while back.
I work at a Galpin Ford, a very large car dealership in Los Angeles, and besides getting the odd celebrity in now and again (actually, we had a rather dour Shaq in today, but I doubt either of us really cares about that), we get quite a few studio vehicles on the lot and in service .
Well, hidden in our back lot I found what I thought was a cool little goody. Ford made what is essentially a big-ass electric golf cart called the Think a short while back. Due to safety reasons, they were recalled. I found the one in the pictures tucked behind a bunch of other ones earlier today. After a little rearranging I was able to get some pretty good shots of it.
I checked with one of the managers and apparently we just got it in straight off the Spiderman 2 set yesterday evening, though he wouldn't or couldn't tell me where the set was.
Just thought you guys might like to see 'em.
