Wanna be one of the first people to see the new TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE' Wanna see R. LEE ERMEY in Person'

Hey folks, Harry here… Well all you Camp Hacknslash attendees may remember that I said at that event that we were going to try to get a special event in conjunction with the new TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE… And ya might remember the audience for FREDDY VS JASON screamin’ and hollerin’ when the trailer for TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE played.
So, do you want to see THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE in Travis County, Texas where it all happened?
I finally got all the details nailed down today for the event. It’s something a bit different than what we did for the All Night Horror Thon last year… and different still from the Camp Hacknslash event. This is going to be not only a very early screening of the TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE (September 27th to be precise) but a Tribute to One of America’s Finest Character Actors working in Cinema.

That’s right, R. Lee Ermey is going to be there – to hopefully humiliate each and everyone of us steers and queers (this IS Texas after all) Not only that… But if you bring your binoculars you can see that Tower down in Texas where he shot all those people! Sir, Yes Sir, this is going to kick those pretty pink panties of yours into the crack of the ass your mommy still wipes!
Who? Did I hear you right? Who? You unorganized grabastic piece of amphibian shit! R. Lee Ermey… The Eagle Thrust Seven Helicopter Pilot from APOCALYPSE NOW! Gny Sgt. Hartman from Stanley Kubrick’s immortal classic FULL METAL JACKET!!! The Police Captain from SE7EN! The voice of the coolest plastic soldier of all time, Sarge from TOY STORY and TOY STORY 2!!! Sgt. Hiles from Peter Jackson’s THE FRIGHTENERS!!! And now Sheriff HOYT from THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE!
I don’t know about you, but R. Lee Ermey isn’t just one of the finest character actors working in cinema today, but ever. He is an icon of authority and fury on screen. He not only has his own Doll of himself made by SIDESHOW TOYS, but it cusses. It cusses really good. At his site, RLeeErmey.Com a portion of each sale of goods goes to the Marine Corps Drill Instructor Fund! He is a force of nature that will be unleashed upon all of us maggots at the insane asylum by the cemetery overlooking that prison.
He’s not the only guest coming, but he’s the only one I’m gonna tell you about! That’s all you need to know.
We will also be following up this screening with an R. Lee Ermey trailer fest culminating in a screening of Peter Jackson’s THE FRIGHTENERS!!! How Cool Is That? Cuz, if you know anything about THE FRIGHTENERS, you know that R. Lee was in charge of that graveyard (CHECK) and that Jake Busey’s character was going to prison (CHECK) and the whole Asylum angle (CHECK). Yup, it was born to be played out here.
Also, SIDESHOW TOYS have donated a bunch of 12” Dolls for me to give out at the event. No, not the R. Lee Ermey dolls… you’ll have to buy those! I will be thinking of various ways to possibly humiliate you folks to win these suckers… and I might even talk R. Lee Ermey into humiliating you!
Not only that, but you’ll be having all this fun, and the money goes to benefit the Austin Film Society, which in turn will benefit everything they support like the Texas Filmmaker’s Production Fund, the Center for Young Cinema, their Documentary Series, special free film series and on and on and on…
ALSO… at the end of THE FRIGHTENERS, I will no longer be drawing the numbers for the tickets you folks will have that will allow you to purchase tickets for the Austin portion of the BUTT-NUMB-A-THON 5 tickets... the reason, is because Toranaga in Talk Back pointed out something... this is too short of notice.
And you don’t want to miss BUTT-NUMB-A-THON 5…. I promise.
So how do locals get BNAT 5 tickets? Stay tuned, Tim League and I will hatch something diabolical for sure.
The Internet Tickets will be handled separately, details to come… BUTT-NUMB-A-THON 5 And it will blow your mind.
For all the details and how to buy your tickets to this fantastic TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE and R. Lee Ermey Tribute – Go to the Alamo Drafthouse’s Website and Click on the poster for THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE or just Click Here

Oh, and if you’re debating coming to Austin for the event, the Austin Film Society is also doing an early afternoon premiere of SCHOOL OF ROCK with Jack Black and Richard Linklater – There is time for both events! And there ain't no way, no how I am going to miss seeing the "D" in person! JACK BLACK RAWKS! Actually, that's what the title of this film should've been... SCHOOL OF RAWK! heh... just kidding... kinda... Click here to get them tickets!
