Hey folks, Harry here... From time to time, there is a Stephen King adaptation worth getting excited about. Well, this is one of those. This April, David Koepp will be unveiling his 3rd feature film. His first was THE TRIGGER EFFECT, a movie that I actually have a bit of a soft spot for. The second was A STIR OF ECHOES which, unfortunately, was released in the midst of the mania over THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT and THE SIXTH SENSE, and technically... my favorite of those three has always been STIR OF ECHOES. Kevin Bacon was incredible in that film, and it was a genuinely haunting tale.

Koepp does his absolute best writing when it is a project he's directing, and he is a damn good director ta boot. SO - with a cast that is made up of Johnny Depp, John Turturro, Ving Rhames, Charles Dutton, Maria Bello and Timothy Hutton, from a damn fine King novella... and with a trailer that has Turturro being a freak... well it looks good, well.. looks good for being in fucking Windows Media and Real Video... I'd prefer to have a big ol nice Quicktime of this, as Fred Murphy's cinematography is a bit lost with the frame loss of the following formats. Here ya go:
