Hey folks, Harry here... I'm not really sure how anyone could possibly conceive of doing a sequel to HERO, I personally felt the ending was magnificently FINAL in it's imagery and for the narrative itself. For those of you, who have seen the first film, please respect those that have yet to see the movie and that have been waiting patiently in the hopes that Miramax would in fact one day release this film which was nominated for Best Foreign Film... LAST YEAR. Meanwhile, I have good news regarding TWILIGHT SAMURAI, the Japanese nominee for Best Foreign Film this year. Well, seems that it is destined for release in the United States on the Arthouse circuit in April with subtitles and unedited. Showing respect for the original material... unlike some distributors... grumble grumble. Here ya go...

According to the 25th Anniversary brochure from Constantin Film, the German distributor of HERO, HERO 2 is on the production slate 2004/2005 !!!
