"Crusade": constructive holding pattern

Glen here...

Okay folks, I'm tired as hell and I've been doing this all day. As such, I'm keep this one as short as possible.

I've been working my butt off (and putting up with the customary onslaught of "How dare you upset the Babylon 5 fans!" messages) in an effort to bring resolution to Coaxial's previously posted reports that Crusade had been cancelled.

I have deleted all previous reports...and the Talkbacks which accompanied them...in an effort to keep Coaxial as clean as possible for readers coming in to get the latest news on this subject. It was all getting too confusing, too tricky to keep up with.

This was not because of pressure from The Powers That Be at either TNT or Crusade. This was..simply...a clarical decision on my part. No disrespect to all of you who participated in the Talkbacks about the subject throughout the day. I wanted to start with a clean slate, 'cause after tonight - we're into virgin territory.

I'm going to have to ask you guys to trust me on this one. I'm not trying to be coy or dodgy, but I am holding a few things back for now - as revealing them might jeopardize a delicate, critical, and ongoing process.

To quote Crusade's Galen: "There is a time and a place for everything, and now is not the time..."

So, bear with me.

Be patient.

One way or another, you will all understand soon enough.

To make a long story short:

1) Big changes could be in the wind !!!

2) If everything works out right, these could be VERY GOOD CHANGES.

3) Series not cancelled (but in a twisted way I was actually right in my previous (now deleted) report). Production suspended for one to two weeks to accomdate changes. At that time, production should resume - and all will become apparent to the masses.

When this happens, everything that went down on Coaxial today...everything that was reported about Crusade's possible cancellation...will be explained to you in fascinating and intricate detail. It should make for one hell of a story. Someone needs to write a book about the making of this series. I mean -- damn.

If there was a need to worry at the moment, I'd tell you.

You know I'd tell you.

I promise to bring you more on the situation as it develops.

I promise to tell you if its time to worry...
