With a fast bit of news re: the Babylon 5 spinoff series - Crusade.
Negotions to move the series from TNT (where the show has suspended production) to another network are ongoing, and apparently moving a little more slowly than many of us would like.
Walter Koenig (who was preparing to reprise his B5 role of Alfred Bester on Crusade before the series fell into stasus) recently indicated the Sci Fi Channel or FX were the most likely candidates to become Crusade's new home. He said this at a science fiction convention in Connecticut, I believe.
Good God I hope it's not FX. I don't get FX - and I don't know anybody who does!
So, The Long Wait continues...
I can sense from the Talkbacks...and the numerous e-mails & phone calls I have received in the last few weeks...that fan & viewer tensions about this show are waaaaayyyyyy high right about now. Accordingly, if all goes as planned (which it might not - as my plans involve some technical & logistical slights-of-hand), look for a few Crusade surprises later this week here on on Coaxial. Probably Wednesday or Thursday.
Might help to take the edge off a little...
