...with a little news about the series finale of Deep Space Nine.

The two hour closing episode will be entitled "Fin de Siècle". This translates to "an apocalyptic climax...the end of an age", or in French for "end of the century" or "end of an era". ((Glen Note: why does enumerating these interpretations remind me of Wayne's World?)). If this interpretation isn't entirely correct, feel free to chime on on the Talkbacks below.

Now, trekweb is reporting the following rumors about the series finale. Please note, these are rumors. Trekweb identifies them as such, and so do I.

As a side note - I suppose all of this means there's now a script for the big finale. Yes...oh yes...I would like to see that script - please note the P.O. Box address below. I will be a good boy with it :-) In fact, the only reason I haven't covered Star Trek more thoroughly is because Paramount's security is so damn good, and because sites like trekweb have pretty much cornered the market as far as covering the franchise goes (and have done a magnificent job with their coverage, by the way).

Now, onto those final rumors from trekweb.

Rumor has it that the Enterprise E may make a cameo. Also, Sloan from Section 31 may be returning (so hints writer Bradley Thompson), expect the season-long allusions to the Battle of Alamo to "pay off," as well as to see Sisko join the leagues of the Prophets.
