Hey folks, Harry here. After seeing FIGHT CLUB on Monday, I realized that I was very very curious about a lady's reaction to this film. Now... Annette happens to be one of the finest cool gals this world has produced so far, and I was about 100% sure she'd love the film, but I have spoken with a few ladies that don't write for the site that didn't like the film. And a couple of guys. The audience tonight was probably about 80% male, and I didn't notice many upset femme faces after the film, but I can confirm Annette's elation throughout the film. About halfway through the film, she drew here feet up into her seat and rested her arms atop her knees and peered above them smiling. She really really dug this film. But... here ya go...

It is I, Annette Kellerman, here to review, or, um talk about a film that I am completely enamourmed by. Fight Club- wow,wow,wow!!! How can I possibly review this film without giving something away? Harry went to the Monday screening here in Austin-I'm sure most of you read the review. But, you don't have to face him the next day like I always do. You see, if you're a "friend of Harry" and you haven't yet had the opportunity to see a masterpiece like this-AND HE HAS- you're automatically deemed uncool. WEll, when I first saw him and he began to gloat, I immediately said,"OK! I get it! You're cool. I'm not. Don't fucking utter a sound and ruin it, because I'd actually like to see this this film with no pretenses what-so-ever." After a brief taunting, Harry thankfully gane in-and I was awarded the chance to see the film completely unscathed. Now, as one of the only female contributors to the site, some of you may skip my review. Yet, Harry was totally adamant about a GIRL reviewing this film for reasons unknown to me because- I ABSOLUTELY ADORED IT FROM BEGINNING TO END! You will not be disappointed! In fact, I hate to even mention the reasons to NOT be disappointed because I SO want to you too to see it as I did. With nothing in mind except the notion that you may or may not believe in the film.

Rarely am I honestly surprised by a film, and well, this one blew me away. Ed Norton's perfomance (as usual)blew me away. And Brad Pitt was amazing. AND-please don't automatically pigeonhole me as one of those "worshippers of Brad." The guy is very nice to look at- and, yes, shirtless is a definite plus. But, after this flick, he has so many cool points in my book, its not even funny. In effect, this is not even a review. It is simply(and hopefully) a bit more incentive for you to go out and see this film. I could go on and on about the film plot, characters,etc., YET I don't even want to be the person that influences you one way or another. I want to be that cool girl who told you to go see a fucking AWESOME MOVIE! I'll leave the "real reviewing" to my friends for once. I want you to be as excited as I was taking my seat . So theres a little incentive. Let me leave you with this- this film takes turns that I never even imagined, and left me practically shitting my pants. Yes, I am a true GEEK-and this film gave me geekgasms that will have me satiated for a very long time. Please go see this film (like I had to tell you that!)
