Here's some additional info from SSZERO that he sent me. Wow... Ya mean all that 'BS' I was printing months ago about an 'alleged' journey to Skywalker Ranch by Leo was true? Shock.... Gasp.... Imagine that?

I saw the interview with Leo on Entertainment Tonite and here are some details that your scooper didn't mention:
The interviewer asked him if he had been to Skywalker Ranch, Leo replied "yes". She then asked if he would be playing Anakin Skywalker, Leo said that he and George had talked about it but the script isn't finished yet. When the script is done Leo then said he would consider it. I think Leo stating that he discussed with Lucas playing the role of Anakin was the most important part of the conversation. Many times asked Lucas has given a firm "no" to the questions of Leonardo portraying Anakin (so much for Lucas "making stars" and not hiring them). Also at one time I clearly remember George Lucas flatly denying the rumours of Obi-Wan Kenobi being portrayed by Ewan McGregor, hmmm. On another note in the interview for the first time I have ever seen, Leo had facial hair, basically a goatee and he's packed on a good 35lbs. His voice is still somewhat squeaky but otherwise he's the best Anakin Skywalker Lucas could hope for. Need we forget Leo is the only Oscar nominated actor heavily rumoured/considered for the role?

Watching "E.T." in which the blond lady's interviewing with Leonardo. Question asked about whether he'll play Anakin in Ep II, Leonardo said, "I'll consider it."
