You know... In life there seems to have been at least 20 different reasons to get rid of Lorenzo at Warner Brothers. And, for every stock holder in the company... this should be the final straw to break that back. Due to the complete incompetence of WARNER BROTHERS suits... Brad Bird has signed a 3 year deal to direct at PIXAR!!!! While it is a tremedous blow to Warner Brothers animation... This news should be met as being among the best possible deals we humans will have ever heard. Brad Bird... and John Lassiter working together is about as great as any deal could ever be. Our scooper says that the first project will be THE INCREDIBLES... Now... if memory serves (both mine and Moriarty's that is) this project is a story of a multi-generational super-powered superhero family living in a world of miraculously powered beings. Beyond that... we know NOTHING! I'm telling you right up front... Folks.. this news will be heralded as the beginning of the greatest career choice in our lifetimes. The geniuses at PIXAR matched with the brilliance of Brad Bird... My god, the mind races...

I can not believe anyone has not written about this one yet but Friday afternoon Brad Bird signed a three year deal to direct his own property "The Incredibles" in the house that Lassiter built. You heard it right, the industry's two geniuses under one roof at PIXAR. From what has been said by people close to him inside his old base camp at Warner Bros. Feature Animation, Brad has a full blown budget and even better, full creative freedom to tell the story the way he wishes without any interference from a major Hollywood studio. Word has it the film will be financed by PIXAR without interference from the Mouse.
It was making its way around Friday afternoon in the halls of WB but was officially announced to the crew of Osmosis Jones in the weekly production meeting Monday morning. Not much is known about "The Incredibles" word has it that its an original story about a group of superheros. Although the loyal crew at WB are extremely bummed that he will not be making the film at WBFA they are all happy that he finally has found a place where he can tell his story the way he wants to. He deserves it.
Once again the cluster-fuck on the WB lot has let yet another golden egg slip from there hands but....then again what else is new.
