Hey folks, Harry here and it seems that Michael Bay and company are searching all over the place for the Nurse in PEARL HARBOR. Whoever nabs this role has to be able to get emotions going and not just johnsons. As written, her character has got to be strong and sensitive, as well as being able to handle tragedy well. While I love Gwyneth... an unknown... (at least to American eyes) would be very cool. We'll just have to wait and see...
Long time reader, first time writer.I just read in an english newspaper that ex-soap star current BBC drama star Lisa Faulkner has had talks to appear in the new blockbuster Pearl Harbour.
It says "Lisa had an interview on saturday for what would easily be her biggest role ever in Disney`s new epic Pearl Harbour. Gwyneth Paltrow was originally thought to be lined up for the plum part."
Now before you start thinking that the character is english due to the fact that Faulkner is an english actress and that Gwyneth Paltrow, the American queen of the english accent, is also rumered. Faulkner is quoted in saying "It`d be so exciting if I got the go-ahead. And so daunting too, as I`d have to do an American accent."
