Visual Effects on SPIDER-MAN

A high placed AICN source has just informed me that Sam Raimi is approaching John Dykstra as the visual effects supervisor on SPIDER-MAN. John Dykstra has worked on everything from STAR WARS to LIFE FORCE to BATTLESTAR GALACTICA to BATMAN & ROBIN to STUART LITTLE. The work he did in STUART LITTLE is quite honestly some amazing work... BUT... I have to say that I was personally hoping that Kevin Mack was going to be getting the job... as he is currently the leading brainiac regarding the exact type of work that will be needed on SPIDER-MAN and did loads of pre-work with Cameron (which was amazing to all that saw it). BUT... That being said, Dykstra is simply a great choice... if he accepts. That's all for now...
