A pair of eyes upon the new X-MEN trailer, plus what Patrick Stewart had to say about it

Hey folks... Strange... I feel a bit mutanty today myself... Perhaps if I take off these ruby red sunglasses.... ahem... that didn't work too well. I just destroyed my Lon Chaney Jr paddle board. I'll never forgive myself. hehehehe... Moving from the top lefthand corner of the page to here... I just have to say I'm very anxious to see this new trailer. I'm not in love with the first trailer, but hearing about the manhandling from those MPAA butchers... I'm gonna just hold tight and let the badass trailer come. Please come soon! These ruby quartz lenses can't contain my excitement... Here's Mr Towani!!!

Hey Harry,

Mace Towani here. Sunday a friend and I headed to Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY to check out a Sci-Fi convention. They were going to show the new X-Men trailer premiered at ShoWest, and follow it up with Patrick Stewart himself. I know you have seen the trailer already, and think it kicked ass. The shot of Logan pining down someone with one claw fully extended on either side of the persons head and the third one partially out and pushing on the persons throat rocked. Im not a huge Star Trek fan (frankly alot of those Trekkies frighten me) so I was a little upset at paying a $10 dollar entrance fee just to see the trailer the once. Out comes Patrick Stewart to the cheers of the audience, he said he came straight from a theatre in Manhattan where he was rehearsing a new play he is in, and complained that his voice was tired. He seems like a really cool guy. He asked the crowd if they would mind seeing the trailer again since he had not seen it yet, also he said he had not seen alot of the cast in full costume (mainly the Brotherhood) since he is not in most action sequences. He also said that the big finale is about a half hour and Xavier is unconscious the whole time. Afterwards he commented on how excited he was about the film and he thought it was strange that he was involved with another franchise. He said he knew that Fox was hoping to build a franchise out of this!!!! He also said that the big premiere was going to be 2 days prior to the movies release on the 14th and would be held on Ellis Island! I think we may have a comic adapted movie that may just be awesome, heres hoping anyway.
