Hey folks, Harry here feeling a bit Grinch-y myself today, though that LOTR trailer swelled my heart up 4 sizes larger than usual... Here's some great spy-opticalography work by the Coenbros.... strange name that one. Word has it they have a honking laugh though. The photo of the whole Whoville set lit up was taken over a few nights during the shooting in January so it is a composite. They only lit part of the set at a time. If you look carefully to the far right you can see a very small Jim Carey standing on the roof of one of the houses. His sled is above the same house.
One of the photos was taken in the fall before the full set was completed. You can see the construction trucks and the unfinished buildings.
The last photo was taken of Whoville during the day shortly after filming was finished.
We still have drive on access to the Universal back lot just in case you have any homework assignments for us. We don't have access to schedules for upcoming shoots so the stuff we find is by chance but we can still get photos or video of stuff like the Bates Motel and house, New York set, and any thing else back there. Let us know.
