Hey folks, Harry here with a first time scooper who claims to have gotten a look see at something very cool. HOWEVER, I don't know that for sure and neither do you. Why post it? Because at Comic Con this weekend, I had tons of people say, "WHY don't you let us have more fun with the juicy rumors you get on SWE2?" I said that I was trying to keep it at a drip till I got the script, cause until then... everything is pure speculation and possible disinformation. "Yeah, but that's half the fun"... Alright, you folks at Comic Con asked for it. Now be aware... the stuff down below, IF TRUE but I have no evidence to say it is, could be very spoilerish, and would piss you off if you are a NO SPOILER person, and then this shit comes true in the movie, and then you'd be like, MUST KILL HARRY... well... This is that warning that keeps you out of jail. I have comments about one part of this story in amongst the text, as to not deal with it up here... in nonspoiler land.... here's the scoop/rumor/tall tale of the month...
Hey Harry, i know your probably sick of Ep2 scoops right about now but i'm about to offer you something you've never heard before,or at least i don't think you have.
I just checked out some sketches and character sheets, from a very trustworthy source. Let's get one thing clear first, Gabriel Byrne and Christopher Walken are both most definately IN!!!! But they aren't playing who you may think. I cannot tell you however when this will be released on the official site because i'm being totally honest and i really don't know. But I can tell you about their characters, plus i got a good look at Jango Fett and Boba Fett sketches so here it is:
HEAVY SPOILERS!!!!!
GABRIEL BYRNE: is NOT playing Moff Tarkin! The sketch and sheet i looked at listed him as a Jedi Defiant, whatever that means. Then in qoutes it said unnamed or something followed by Gabriel Byrne. I could have cried when i saw one of my favorite actors is actually in SW2!
His character is weird looking! and i mean weird! He wears this hood and then there is this gash running down the side of his face. His teeth are jagged and sharp looking and the eyes are milked over with no pupils. He was in dark robes with an unlit lightsaber in his hand. Thats all i saw.
CHRISTOPHER WALKEN: is NOT playing Darth Bane! and oh man are you gonna flip when i tell you who he is playing. Though he will probably be revealed on the official site as a merchant or something on that order, the pic clearly has the word "SOLO" written on the top of it. Could he be playing Han's pop or even grandfather. I don't know but it had the word "SOLO" in quotes with Christopher Walken following.
The drawing itself was pretty poor, it looked similar to that pilot Ric Olie's but it had lots more gadgets and stuff on a belt of some kind. The hair was slicked back. It really didn't look like Walken that much but the sheet doesn't lie.
Hey folks, Harry here...Alright, now before everyone points at this and says... HEY WAIT A MINUTE... Let me say... HEY WAIT A MINUTE! Everyone has heard the story that Christopher Walken was originally up for the role of Han Solo... but lost it to a carpenter named Ford... We all know about the wicked Kevin Spacey gag on Saturday Night Live as he did an impersonation of Walken in costume trying out for the part of Han Solo... It's funny shit... SO... this is either the smoking laughing rose petal that spews the water... or... Lucas is again considering and casting folks that were once considered for the original trilogy. Only time will tell... Back to the scooper...
JANGO FETT AND BOBA FETT: I got a good look at both of these. Jango is sitting in the cockpit of slave one, the costume had parts of Mandalorian armor but it looked more ancient and evil. He had his helmet off sitting on his lap. The darkened parts of it were sharper and wider and his gloves had these claw type things on them. There was a weapon on his shoulder, some kind of blaster and there was a long chain of what appeared to be scalps down the front to his belt. The could have been something different though. The artist did a great job of potraying Temeura Morrison though and i congratulate him.
Boba Fett is and unmasked kid, he looked around 6-8 years old. He was dressed differently though in kind of a raggy clothing with a blaster on his belt and dirt and grime on his face. Maybe it was just a bad pic but i think people will be really disappointed here. Oh well,Jango should be good.
Thats pretty much all i have right now but i was promised a gander at Bail Organa's sketch and i'll be sure and keep you posted.
