Hey folks, Harry here... Now... I've got something here that I know just right off the bat.. you won't believe... And ya know... that's fine... I'll even say, "I don't know if I believe it either!" Afterall.. I don't know this spy.. I've never met Nasty... I've called around.... beaten on a couple of doors this late night into early evening... and I've got moderate and non-committed answers... and pussy-footing around. Right off the bat... there is no cast as of yet. There is no script, only the treatment. Now, this is something that Warners wants made asap. It is possible that there have been some cursory calls. Now, Moriarty said well over a month ago how much he wanted Clint Eastwood to play the elder Wayne... but I have to say... this RUMOR about Paul Newman... it's fascinating. Eastwood is so vital looking... like he is still very much unbroken (by age and life), whereas Newman... Paul Newman is great... he looks like an old old man, but there's a history of something more there. If you saw WHERE THE MONEY IS.... this is an excellent template to base and then move forward from. Nothing rock solid at this point... just rumors... something for you to chew on...
Hey Harry. I've been coming to your site for awhile now but I never thought I'd have some info for you. I was in a deli in Westport, CT yesterday and Paul Newman was in line in front of me. I couldn't believe it. He was talking to some other guy about a possible role in a Batman movie! He said he'd be Batman at age 65 or something. Then he said "futuristic stuff." So after he ordered, of course I told him he was great, etc. Real cool guy. I guess they are making a Batman Beyond movie.
