[ALICE] A steely blue-eyed 21 year old woman with an athlete's body, Alice awakens one day with no memory of her past-she doesn't even know her own name. She's still puzzling over this mystery when she runs into Matt, evidently a police officer, who is in turn joined by an elite commando team led by a man named One. Alice, it seems, has just stumbled onto a nasty situation: she and the others are trapped in a building operated by the so-called Red Queen, a rogue computer determined not to allow anyone out alive. With little choice in the matter, Alice joins in the effort to defuse the Red Queen; as she does, she finds fragmented memories of her past life flooding into her mind. As she rapidly regains her identity, Alice transforms from a passive observer to a commanding, butt-kicking warrior, whose new-found fighting skills come in handy as the premises fill up with an army of the undead…LEAD (9)

[MATT] A tough, resourceful man with a deceptively fresh-faced look, he too is caught within the vast laboratory ruled by the deadly Red Queen computer. Matt calls himself a police officer, but the troops led by One think he's an impostor, and so they keep a very close eye on him; they clearly don't trust him at all. Matt, in fact, knows far more about the goings on at the lab than he's willing to reveal, and after One is slain by the Red Queen, Matt steps into the driver's seat, becoming determined to lead everyone out of the building before the army of the undead can close in…LEAD (12)

[ONE] A born leader, the square-jawed man known as One is the leader of the team of commandos whose mission is to disable the Red Queen computer, which has just wiped out everyone in the building. The kind of man who naturally commands respect, One leads the others through the winding corridors of the building to the lair of the Red Queen; he expects to have little trouble completing his mission. Alas, he's proven quite wrong, and the Red Queen's defenses turn out to be far stronger than anticipated; he's literally cut into pieces by the computer's laser…3 speeches & 54 lines, 12 scenes (15) STAR CAMEO

[TWELVE] He's a body-armored member of the team of commandos, led by the man called One, who storm the lab in an effort to disable the homicidal Red Queen computer. Twelve, who's something of a techno-whiz, assures everyone that Red Queen is protected by only minimal defenses-but he's proven tragically wrong when the renegade computer wipes out the better part of the commando team, including One. Realizing that the mission must be carried out, Twelve steps into the leadership role, despite his trepidation; he manages to disable Red Queen at much personal risk. But Twelve's ordeal is only just beginning, as a horde of the undead promptly attacks the wounded crew…LEAD (15)

[J.D.] Another commando, J.D. is a crass, tough-talking, street-wise guy who, like his comrades, is in the lab attempting to disable the runaway Red Queen computer. A pretty rough-and-tumble character, J.D. takes an immediate disliking to Matt, whom he watches over like a hawk. J.D. is seriously wounded during a clash with the undead, and despite his natural durability his physical condition deteriorates rapidly; he becomes concerned that he's been infected with the same bacteria responsible for reanimating the dead-and as it turns out, he's right…LEAD (21)

[SPENCE] Another unfortunate trapped in the building, Spence is unconscious when the commando team finds him; he wears a wedding ring identical to Alice's, which leads the amnesiac woman to believe that they were man and wife. Upon reviving, Spence finds himself in the middle of a dangerous situation: the Red Queen is busy dispatching veryone in the building. Spence comes off like the voice of doom with his mantra "we are so f-ed," but he's more on top of the situation than he's letting on-in fact, Spence is there to carry out a secret mission, which will involve betraying his comrades…LEAD (21)

[RAIN] A tough, likable commando, and best friends with J.D., Rain is a sassy, businesslike woman who can hold her own with her male compatriots. But Rain's luck runs out for good during an encounter with the undead…CO-STAR (17)

STORY LINE: Based on a popular video game and franchise, Resident Evil. Trapped in a laboratory where a recent disaster killed everyone on the premises, a small team of commandos find themselves battling a homicidal computer and an army of the living dead....
