Remake of 'M' to star DMX... sigh

Hey folks, Harry here... well, the hits just keep on coming for us. Let's see... we have Schumacher doing Kerouac, Ratner doing RED DRAGON and Curtis Hanson doing an Eminem biopic.... Now we get something that really pisses me off... Joel Silver... remaking Fritz Lang's 'M' starring rapper DMX as the leader of the criminal underground who has to team up with the head detective (who they hope will be played by Vin Diesel) to track down the Child Murderer "M". Here's what the first paragraph from the Hollywood Reporter said:

After successfully teaming with producer Joel Silver on Warner Bros.' action films "Exit Wounds" and "Romeo Must Die," rapper DMX is reteaming with Silver and the studio for a third time on an untitled project inspired by the 1931 German crime thriller "M."

Alright... so let's see... upon reading the entire unedited HOLLYWOOD REPORTER story it seems that basically Joel Silver and his writer... a Reginald Blythewood, whom I have been able to gather zero information on, are going to turn one of the greatest works of cinema ever into a BUDDY style movie, where you team up a detective and a criminal to fight an even worse criminal. Whew... sounds great... ugh!

Here wolves.... meat....
