David Fincher can't get enough of Chuck!

Hey folks, Harry here... Talking to Moriarty about this story we just kind of sat here... him at his computer, me at mine... and pondered the world where David Fincher made all of Chuck Palahniuks' novels... Has a filmmaker done something like that before.... I suppose that Peter Jackson could if he also made THE HOBBIT... but it is such an odd and unusual thing for a filmmaker to fall in love with a literary source so much that he dedicates a hefty portion of his career to envisioning their worlds on screen to this degree.... Most likely he'll end up producing and never producing some of these... but it is fascinating....

Hi Harry

Dont know if you've heard but i've just been over at ChuckPalahniuk.Net to see what was up with my favourite author and found some very intresting info on some of chucks latest work. It seems that Survivor and Invisible Monsters are locked in pre-production hell however Chucks newest novel Lullaby ("It's a comedy/drama/tragedy. In that order."), that isn't even out till september next year, has been looked over as a project by none other than David Fincher. As you know last time these people met the world was given FIGHT CLUB. Lullaby has been billed as Palahniuks taking onthe horror genre with a reporter trying to track down every copy of a poem that can kill when read (it was previously used to cull the population in Africa when draughts and famines hit). Lullaby is reported to be Palahniuks darkest story to date and the 1st in a trilogy. So lots to look forward to me thinks.
