A Report on Jason Lee and what he's up to!

Hey folks, Harry here with a brief report on Jason Lee... Now he's a god, we all know he's a god, and you know that you worship Banky... Banky is a god, and Kevin is going to mess with our Gods and forever pervert their deityness... That's why Kevin rules... Hopefully the 2nd Internet Trailer for JAY & SILENT BOB STRIKE BACK will really come out today... not like when it was supposed to come out yesterday.... but for real today... no really... for real, honest this time, i think...

Hey Harry,

I had a chance to catch "An Evening With Jason Lee" at the Florida Film Fest this Sunday, where they showed Chasing Amy followed by Q&A with Jason Lee. He seemed like a very down to earth guy, yet somewhat bewildered by his fame and very loyal fans.

He was very open about all his films past and future. When asked about the current situation with Fletch, he said it was all a matter of when Miramax would greenlight it, and that if and when they do Kevin Smith will direct and he will star. He also hinted at some spoilers for Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back; for one, Brodie and Banky have no scenes together. Both of their scenes are with Jay and Silent Bob, and two, he said there is "Something very new about Banky." the only thing I could think of was his hinted homosexuality in Chasing Amy, you can make your own assumption. He did talk briefly about Vanilla Sky, he said it will be a very new role for him and Tom Cruise, and a new direction for Cameron Crowe. If you didn't already know, it's is based on the 1997 Spanish film Abre los Ojos.

About the rumor of him turning down the role of Dirk Diggler in Boogie Nights, it's somewhat true. He did read the script and turn it down; "I don't wanna take off my shirt. And getting down and dirty with . . . Roller Girl?".

Next year will be a big year for Mr. Lee, he is starting a production company, and hopes to direct his first feature film.

Later Harry,

Oh yes, call me BooblePhex
