Harry here… the 9th Annual BUTT-NUMB-A-THON… I’ve nick’d it as BIG TROUBLE IN BUTT-NUMB-A-THON.

Why? Well – It’s been a problematic journey towards BUTT-NUMB-A-THON – Not in terms of programming, but in other terms… yeah.

As of right now the location of BUTT-NUMB-A-THON 9 – well it’ll be the RITZ, but as of this date – seats don’t even exist in the building and it is only through faith in Tim League and the Drafthouse wizards that I believe that BUTT-NUMB-A-THON 9 will happen. It will happen, I just haven’t seen a film where it will happen – but it will be spectacular. Because… we will make it our new home.

When is BUTT-NUMB-A-THON 9?

Saturday, December 8th – Noon – through – Sunday, December 9th – Noon

The line up of films is looking pretty damn good at this stage, but we’ll see as we get closer.

With BNAT getting closer – I have to begin the submission process as usual. As it’s a lengthy process for me to personally go through all the submissions and make the judgments on who gets in and who doesn’t based upon those submissions. So what do you have to do?

First – The Subject Line needs to be: BIG TROUBLE IN BUTT-NUMB-A-THON

Then in the body of the email, not as an attachment. If you send your submission answers as a file, I will not read it. If you’re submitting with a group of friends – I recommend doing so in a single email – where all the answers are first answered by you, then the next person and so on and so on. So say you're a group of 4, that means 4 applications need to be filed. and 8 photos attached labeled to the individuals. If there's 1 application filled and you have 4 people that want to come, I'm going to invalidate the whole application. -- This isn't because I'm mean, but these answers are important for the YEARBOOKS you get when you go. Some of the answers are for your profile in that book.

2. And your favorite photo of you from a past Halloween Celebration or Costumed affair. These should be JPG in format - and be attached as such.

-JPG image size:

-The file size for each image should be under 200KB.

As always – BUTT-NUMB-A-THON is a celebration of my birthday, the best in film entertainment and to sponsor a year long film series dedicated toward bringing the coolest films to children here in Austin. All proceeds go towards this year long series!

BUTT-NUMB-A-THON is a 24 hour film celebration exclusively programmed by me of upcoming films and films from the past – attended by a hand picked group of film lovers – Half from the Austin and Central Texas area…. And the other half from around the country and world. In the past we’ve had special guests including Mel Gibson, Guillermo Del Toro, Vin Diesel, Bill Condon, Seth Rogen, Peter Jackson, Zack Snyder, Craig Brewer and more.
