Name is Harry Knowles - and every year - around this time I post up a call to arms for all you hip, cool, astonishingly keyed in folks with something to promote. From the very beginning of this 9 year celebration of all things Geek and Cool about films - we've had the fabulous Butt-Numb-A-Thon Gift Bags.

In past years we've given out entire game systems, dvds, posters, autographed items, hats, t-shirts, stress squeezable sperms, hand-cuffs, tiny fezs, snow-globes, action figures, disguises, deodorant... and on and on and on... Products have debuted in these bags - and sometimes... the items were so big and cool we had to pass them out afterwards when an enormous Alamo Drafthouse moving truck packed floor to ceiling arrived to pass out items too awesome to fit in.

It isn't always created by a corporation - sometimes it's a music cd or indie film dvd that someone hoping for exposure sent in. You got something to give, we'll give it to these 210 lucky hardcore geeks ready to spend 24 hours dedicated to the noble concept of sitting on their asses watching cool ass movies with the coolest assed people on the planet.
