Memorial Day has given Britain’s Sky TV a new episode of “Battlestar Galactica” a few days ahead of America’s SciFi Channel!

Very interesting info about what happens with Tom Zarek and Lee Adama now that Laura Roslin is in Cylon clutches. And what is daddy Bill thinking? (Recall that at the end of the Razor webisodes, we saw the crafty Cylon Dorel arrange for Lee to be assigned to the Galactica … )

Hey Herc !

It appears there is a break in the series for memorial
day or somesuch in the US ? In the UK, episode 4.8
went ahead last night on Sky TV (they who had season 1
a few weeks ahead of the USA, something to do with
co-funding the mini-series I think) and whilst it was
light on explosions, heavy on chat and drama, boy was
it a belter !

Lot's happened, lot's of individual story arcs
advanced and some intriguing situations presented
themselves.

And then there is the small matter of the
Presidency.....

Want spoilers ? Well.....

Over 40 Vipers were on the Baseship when the hybrid
freaked out last week and made them JUMP! This leaves
Galactica barely able to defend herself.

Athena broke her promise to Adama, and boy is he
pissed !

Raptors searching for the Baseship and Roslin come
across the aftermath of a battle including wrecked
Vipers..... but what happened, did they take down the
Resurrection Hub ? Is that THE Basestar destroyed ?

Zarek is not necessarily President following Roslin's
disappearance with the Cylon Basestar, and boy, is Lee
Adama a career climber !

Tigh's closeness to the imprisoned six on the
Galactica has some unexpected consequences. Not bad
for an old man with a drink problem !

Adama's lack of detachment and judgement lead to him
relinquishing control of the fleet and making another
big decision, which leads to his appearance in a
haunting final shot behind the closing titles.
