Mike Myers (“The Love Guru”) hosts this year’s edition of the popular award-show parody “The MTV Movie Awards,” once again produced by reality maven Mark Burnett.

Those appearing tonight include Will Ferrell (“Step Brothers”), Will Smith and Charlize Theron (“Hancock”), Seth Rogen and James Franco (“The Pineapple Express”), Jack Black, Tom Cruise, Robert Downey and Ben Stiller (“Tropic Thunder”), Adam Sandler (“Don’t Mess With The Zohan”), Steve Carell, Anne Hathaway and Dwayne Johnson (“Get Smart”), Anna Faris, Katherine McPhee, Emma Stone and Rumor Willis (“The House Bunny”), Edward Norton and Liv Tyler (“Incredible Hulk”), Brendan Fraser (“Mummy 3”), Sarah Jessica Parker and Jennifer Hudson (“Sex and the City”), Danny McBride (“The Foot Fist Way”), Rainn Wilson and Mega(n) Fox (“Transformers 2”) and Lindsay Lohan (“Ugly Betty”).

“No Country For Old Men” and “There Will Be Blood” were not nominated for best movie. Nominations in that category went instead to “National Treasure 2,” “Pirates of the Caribbean 3,” “Transformers,” “I Am Legend,” “Juno” and “Superbad.” Would it have killed them to throw “Knocked Up” in there?

"No Country's" Anton Chigurh is up for best villain. “Harry Potter” is up for best kiss. “Never Back Down” is up for best fight.

Nominees for “best summer movie so far” are “Iron Man,” “Indiana Jones,” “Prince Caspian,” “Sex and the City” and “Speed Racer.”
