“Dr. Horrible’s Sing-A-Long Blog,” launched at 12:01 a.m. ET Tuesday.
It’s a musical about a mean, muscular superhero who keeps beating up a far less muscular aspiring evil mastermind.
Directed by Joss Whedon from a screenplay by the Whedon Bros. and this girl who apparently really likes one of the Whedon Bros., “Dr. Horrible” stars Neil Patrick Harris (“Starship Troopers”), Nathan Fillion (“Desperate Housewives”) and supercute Felicia Day (who played a vampire slayer not named Buffy on “Buffy The Vampire Slayer”).
You can watch it for free until Sunday if you click here.
The first third or so arrived tonight, the second third turns up Thursday and the last of it debuts Saturday.
Then on Sunday, they take it all away.
If you want to legally watch it after Sunday, it’ll cost you. First via download, then via one of those newfangled “digital versatile discs” I keep hearing about.
