SciFi.com has a look at (and image of) KITT's hangout/HQ...the "KITT Cave"...from the newly revived KNIGHT RIDER series.

In reality, the lab--situated in an undisclosed location in an unidentified city--is actually an elaborate set at Santa Clarita Studios, just north of Los Angeles. The set represents KITT's multilevel underground hideout.

...says THIS ARTICLE at SciFi, which goes on to reveal that some of the KITT Cave's tech is partially inspired by Microsoft futurists. You can find an image of the set in the write-up as well.

It's likely that anyone watching NBC's Olympics coverage for more than an hour has seen spots for the new series, which also reveal a new (at least I think it's new) "attack" configuration for the vehicle. You can see video of said configuration HERE, where you can also get a look at KITT's enhanced transformative abilities (as in shape-shifting Transformers).

Looks like he can turn into (at least) a truck now. I think it would be fun if they had KITT, at least once, morph into some POS hoopty. After all, if one purpose of his morphing is to avoid detection, why does he only morph into conspicuously high-end vehicles?
