Peter Dinklage To Play Tyrion In HBO’s SONG OF ICE AND FIRE??

I am – Hercules!!
This from an untested source:
I have a friend who works at HBO. While he said he has not heard anything concrete, he said he shared an elevator ride with Peter Dinklage last week. He followed up with a couple people and it seems that Mr. Dinklage will most likely be our Tyrion! Great casting, in my opinion. Call me Sir Bounteous Follywit.
Is it just wishful thinking? Info on Tyrion from Wikipedia:
Tyrion, (a POV character from the start of the series) is Tywin's third child, a misshapen dwarf nicknamed "The Imp" and "The Halfman". As a fan-favorite character, he is the personal favorite of the series' author George R. R. Martin as well.[1] Though Tyrion shares his father's talent for political maneuvering, he receives little respect from Tywin because of his deformity, sharp tongue, penchant for whoring, and the death of his mother during his birth. He is capable of cruelty to his enemies, but also has great sympathy for fellow outcasts and the mistreated.
HBO is turning George R.R. Martin’s series of “A Song of Ice and Fire” fantasy novels into a TV series. The plan is to adapt one novel each season, starting with 1996’s “A Game of Thrones.” Writing the HBO version are feature writers David Benioff (“The 25th Hour,” “Troy”) and D.B. Weiss (who authored a screenplay for the proposed “Halo” movie). These are apparently very long, grown-up fantasy novels, with thousands of characters – the major ones quite flawed and complex - and lots of sex, violence and political intrigue.
