The recent British ITV piece of crap. It sounds a lot like it. This was a show that had Amanda Redman and Sean Pertwee in it, two actors who I greatly admire, and it was still crap. So again, I hope this isn't a remake, because not even that top cast will save it.

That most definitely IS a remake of 'Honest'. All the details match up exactly, right down to the sleazy pawn-shop bloke.

Although that is a fine looking cast. Rob Thomas has earned my full faith with VM, so I'll be checking this out. TV is a writers medium anyway - shows excel or flail on the basis of storytelling. I've got no concerns about this, regardless of the premise.
