so it seems they gave echo a mind wipe...ooooh, what a concept...lets use the amnesia bit again...but its a webisode, so it doesnt matter that it sucks...that the script is gawd awful or that the actors arent even good enough for summer stock

Much of the rest of the show is shit. They have no idea what to do with Ali Latrer (Effin' hint: Watch the 3rd Resident Evil movie!) BUT- I loves me some momma Petrelli. That clip rocked.

Hereos is a shadow of its first season. The writers strike hurt the series and overall direction which most of the time sounds like they either had bad bud or an idea from a studio head. Bottom line NBC blows...Jay Leno...Nuff said.

Here's NBC's official Heroes season 3 roadmap...

"With his abilities returned to him, serial killer Sylar relentlessly continues to accumulate other people's abilities, which leads him to the Bennet house. Bound to a secret company with a keen interest in people like his daughter, "H.R.G.," a.k.a. Noah Bennet, finds new purpose when his most dangerous, fantastic foes break out of custody and must be dragged back. Reeling from recent events and revelations, Claire Bennett, the indestructible high school cheerleader, struggles to define her identity and place in the world.

"An act of heroism unveils an amazing secret about Niki Sanders, a Las Vegas single mother with astonishing strength -- and an unknown, hidden family. In Japan, Yamagato Industries heir Hiro Nakamura continues to use his ability to pierce the space-time continuum and manipulate time to leap into wild, international adventures with his best friend, Ando Masahashi.

"Nathan Petrelli's attempted assassination leads several Heroes on a stunning spiritual quest to explain his power of flight. For his younger brother, Peter, the future and present collide as his many absorbed powers lead him to discover that the only way to end the catastrophic moment facing the world is to do the unimaginable. Meanwhile, their ruthless mother Angela and her associates continue their ongoing, complex machinations to change the world from the shadows.

"Former LAPD officer Matt Parkman is taught new ways to use his expanding ability to hear and manipulate other's thoughts by an unlikely guide. Dr. Mohinder Suresh, a genetics professor from India, takes a dangerous step into darkness as his research into those with extraordinary abilities living among us continues. Far from her Dominican Republic home, Maya Herrera, who causes death when filled with fear or anger, begs Suresh to cure her – only to watch helplessly as he embraces his darker side.

"Their ultimate destiny is nothing less than saving the world..."

I dunno about this...

The problem with Heroes....

Why can't they face a threat that they discover through, you know, a normal course of action? Why do they always have to know of a looming catastrophe from the future and then are forced to change that future? I don't understand why they can't just deal with the present. All this future stuff is really getting tired.
At least for its 'Villains' arc.

The Heroes webisode

has all the same problems that Season2 (and parts of Season1) had. I can sort of "forgive" the directing and editing because it's a webisode but there's no excuse for the story, the writing and (to an extent) the acting to be so bad. NBC is sitting on a Gold mine with Heroes. There's so much you can do with superhero themed stories that you can't with ordinary stories. But they're letting people who clearly aren't up to the task run the show. Sad really. On a bright note, the Office webisodes were brilliant.
America Can See The Videos

Because we are AmeriCANs and we CAN see whatever we want. You other sad-sack nations just have to deal with the fact that no major corporations, publishers, or studios give a flying fuck about any of you. You aren't worth the effort to secure the rights to stream the videos to you're caves or whatever. Become real nations, then we'll give you The Office webisodes. Suckers.
And Holy Shit

Heroes Fucking Sucks. That Webisode was piss-poor garbage in every way. S2 sucked total balls, but I watched S1 also, and I hate to say it, but it was a lot less than it could have been also. Cheesy, crappy dialogue, stupid situations, completey wasted character. The show sucks people. It was made so broad to appeal to 14 year old girls and 50 year old fanboys. Something that processed is never and will never be any good. I can't wait to hate-watch me some Heroes S3. The acting in that webisode looked like a sci-movie possible called "Scorpion vs Komodo" or something. Tim Kring should kick his own ass.

It was obviously directed/shot by someone who has no clue about dramatic cinematography. About a minute in, when Captain Bigmouth watches his girl leave, the camera should have been behind him as he watches her. She exits with camera focused on her. When she closes the door, the camera rack-focuses on him as he turns to face the camera, to face the idiots banging on his door.
Sounds like a fresh helping of the same old shit.

come on, these are really low ball humor. They not horrible humor, they're just aimed at 16 year olds. The office started off being based in reality, and now kevin is selling ice cream to his wacky co-workers for $10 a pop? kind of taking the slapstick route. we're only giving it a pass because we've grown to like the characters.
Slapstick?

How is Kevin selling ice cream slapstick? It's $10, he tells Stanley it's $10, then Stanley walks away. Nobody dropped their pants or got hit in the balls there, soup74.

Thanks for revealing to us our own true feelings. I had no idea I gave the show a pass because we've grown to like the characters. I thought I liked it for other, goofy reasons like HOW FUCKING FUNNY IT IS. Oh well, you learn something new about yourself every day, and that is why I visit the talkbacks on AICN.

and im probably too late, to defend myself, but what the hell.

first..okay, if you enjoyed them, thats cool, you're right, i shouldn't tell people what they do or dont enjoy (i dont want to be one of THOSE people)

that being said, Kevin goes to get a loan to open an ice cream shop, even though he has no idea how to make ice cream? yeah that sounds like a funny premise for a 'thats so raven' or 'zack and cody' episode, not for one of the best sitcoms on TV today. i'm sticking to it.

and by the way i prefer the U.S. office over the U.K.

ive also noted which talkbacker's opinons i wont be listening to the next time they find something funny.
