This really doesn't sound that cool. If this is true, then they will be deliberately looking for something shocking and controversial instead of writing something that turns out to be that way. And of course, every studio wants there next horror movie to be a hit like the Blar Witch was. Whatever.

Please, pretty please let something go right with the world and make a GOOD horror film. Did anyone see Blair Witch 2? I would rather wacth Cop and a 1/2 while getting a battery acid colonic than ever see 1 second of that film ever again...

He who was to wear the William Shatner mask also directed that 80's "classic", 'The boy who could fly'. But more interestingly co-wrote 'Escape from New York' with Carpenter.

I think he also directed some of the episodes of "Freddy's Nightmares," (was that what it was called?)

Am I the only one who liked BLAIR WITCH 2? I thought it was very clever, and had a lot more going on than what was on the surface.
