Scifiwire.com has an interview with Joss Whedon that offers some encouragement for fans disheartened by Fox’s consigning the writer-director’s new sci-fi series “Dollhouse” to the network’s Friday Night Death Slot -- the same Friday Night Death Slot in which Whedon’s last Fox series, “Firefly,” met a speedy demise:

Hey, guys. Quint here with a little update on Herc's great story below... First, regarding Mickey Rourke... I can't confirm his involvement, but I have heard that yesterday's EXPENDABLES story might have been... quite early, to say the least. I'd count his Expendables involvement as more of a maybe, not a definite, so that definitely leaves him open to appear in IM2.

Hey folks, Harry here - the worst part about this time of the year is that it's pretty damn slow news. Hollywood has shut down to basically honor a cute dog movie at the box office that sucks... but amongst the annoying desperate for material pieces talking about talking movie patrons getting shot, endless best of lists... you get images from the big 2009 films, often times our first official looks.

Hey folks, Harry here. We have never really done this before here at AICN, but about 4 days before BUTT-NUMB-A-THON, a publicist representing a company called Wicked Lasers contacted me asking if I did "product reviews".
I clicked over to WICKED LASERS - saw that they did indeed have things that seemed to be Wicked Lasers - and wrote back. "Yes, I would love to review your product"

Hey folks, Harry here... The LA TIMES has the first official AVATAR behind the scenes image. It doesn't show much, and I'm hesitant to state that what is behind Cameron and Sam is "Set" because as far as I know - that's just the specialized transport vehicle insides that he rides to work in each day. BUT - having said that... it does FEEL like a Cameron bit of Science Fiction set work. Go click above and then talk about AVATAR fucking your eyes in 2009.
