Hey folks, Harry here... I've never been the biggest Gambit fan, but I've always respected the character's immense fanbase. Sadly, I'm afraid fans of Gambit will be about as satisfied as VENOM fans were by SPIDER-MAN 3 when they see next summer's WOLVERINE. And I think that disappointment will begin when Gambit fans click on the below link - and then later when they realize that he has a very small part in things... but maybe that's good... if he's forgettable here... perhaps he can be done justice easier later on. Right? Maybe?

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. The mutants keep adding up for WOLVERINE. Looks like they're going whole-hog on this one.
The newest recruits are Dominic Monaghan and Daniel Henney. According to Variety, Henney will play an agent (AGENT ZERO, no less) from the Weapon X program that is an expert tracker and lethal marksman and Monaghan will play a mysterious mutant from Wolvie's past that can manipulate electricity and energy.

Hey folks, Harry here - According to Variety - WOLVERINE is screaming May Day as his own in 2009... that's right May 1st, 2009 will be the date for the WOLVERINE stand alone film.

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Of all the one-shot properties out there, I think WOLVERINE could easiest survive the break from the team. MAGNETO can be done well, but it's tougher than WOLVERINE. He's got so many great single stories to pull from, be it his time in Japan or his Canadian adventures or his war stuff.
However, I've heard nothing but bad things about the script. It's been offered and turned down more times than Courtney Love.
But what gives me hope is that they've attached a really intriguing director. A man by the name of Gavin Hood is directing. You may have seen his amazing film TSOTSI. Pretty intriguing that he's on this film. I hope David Benioff's script has improved, but then again... I haven't read it myself, so it could be just misunderstood. It does surround Wolverine's origins, which is a little worn as a plot point already... and one that seemingly was set up in the X-MEN films to have a resolution in that franchise. Hrmm...

Hey folks, Harry here - Remember that Playboy - CG - Airbrushed look that they did to Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart in X3? Well, looks like they might be employing that technique on the WOLVERINE movie to Brian Cox - as the film is apparently set 17 years before the events that Wolverine goes through in the X-Men movies. Here ya go...
Something small about the upcoming Wolverine movie.
Brian Cox was on a BBC programme, Film 2007 talking about Running With Scissors, the presenter Jonathan Ross asked him about Wolverine to which Cox replied, 'it's set seventeen years ago, which is fine for Hugh Jackman as Wolverine doesn't age but for me, I'm thinking they could what they did with Patrick and Ian for the start of the third one. I know my character is in it, they've asked me to be in it but that was a while ago now, it's completely stalled so no start date as yet.'
